Evening Standard

The Evening Standard publishes three editions a day and reaches smart opinion formers to break London and international stories as they happen alongside topical features, the arts and the top sports news. The Standard has been in circulation since 21st May 1827 and was launched as an evening title at 3.15pm on 11 June 1859, priced one penny. Today the title is owned by Associated Newspapers and edited by Veronica Wadley.

It is widely regarded as the 'Voice of London', setting the agenda for the capital and acting as a barometer for London's economy and is unique in the marketplace in bringing tomorrow's news today. Homes & Property, London's premier property guide is free with the title every Wednesday and fashion and style are on the agenda every Friday with ES Magazine - the capital's favourite free weekly glossy.
