Daily Mail, Founded by Lord Northcliffe in 1896, the Group's flagship newspaper has sales in excess of 2.4 million and 6 million readers. In 1971 it was re-designed as a compact newspaper and now dominates the middle market for national newspapers. A family paper with strong female readership, it has won many awards for editorial flair, outstanding reporting, design and print quality.
On Saturdays the title includes Weekend, a features and TV listings magazine which is recognised as the biggest and best in its field. The circulation of the Saturday edition of the Daily Mail is in excess of 3.1 million and has a readership of 6 million.
